A. Recruiter Information

When recruiters use Zocalo, we may collect:

B. Candidate Information Uploaded by Recruiters

Recruiters may upload candidate resumes and related hiring information into Zocalo. This information may include:

  • Skills and certifications

Recruiters are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to upload and process candidate information through Zocalo.

For example, Apollo.io may provide professional contact information used to support recruiter outreach workflows.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and operate the Zocalo platform

  • Analyze recruiter-uploaded candidate batches using AI models

  • Enable recruiter-approved outbound email sending

  • Improve platform functionality and reliability

  • Maintain platform security and prevent abuse

Zocalo processes recruiter-uploaded candidate information and recruiter-provided context, but does not access recruiters’ private inbox content for AI analysis.


3. AI Processing

Zocalo uses artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) to:

  • Analyze resumes and candidate data

  • Identify candidate-job fit

  • Generate recruiting communications

  • Assist recruiters with hiring workflows

AI-generated outputs are intended to assist recruiters and should not be the sole basis for employment decisions. Recruiters are responsible for reviewing AI-generated recommendations and communications before use.


4. Email Integrations

Recruiters may connect their email accounts to Zocalo in order to send recruiter-approved outreach messages through the platform.

Zocalo does not read, store, or analyze the contents of users’ inboxes or private email communications except as technically necessary to provide email sending functionality.

Access to connected email accounts is limited to permissions required to:

  • authenticate the account connection,

  • send outbound recruiting emails on behalf of the user, and

  • support basic email delivery functionality.

Users may disconnect their email accounts at any time through their email provider settings or within the platform where supported.


5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with:

  • Service providers and infrastructure vendors

  • AI and cloud processing providers

  • Integrated third-party platforms connected by users

  • Legal authorities when required by law

  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale
